WoW Druid Guide For WOW Beginner

Druids in World of Warcraft have been described as the "Swiss Army Knife" of classes. They can fill the role of heal, tank, or DPS – the 3 major roles in the game -- and they can switch between roles as needed.
Playing a druid well requires a player who can adapt to the situation in which his group finds itself. Knowing how to tank and heal, using the class's variety, and managing mana when in night elf or druid form are druid tips that will help a character play the class better.
1. Know How to Tank and Know How to Heal
The first druid tip is for the player of a druid character to know how to fill the 2 main roles that are expected of the class in the game. Being a DPS spell caster is not as important to the druid, as warlocks and mages have higher DPS ratings, and although 2 other classes are available to tank and 3 other classes can heal, competition for the spots is not as intense as that for the DPS slots in a group and many groups will disband for lack of either.
Depending on how the druid chooses to spend his talent points, he may fill one role better than another but a druid who can heal and tank will be able to fill 2 vital group roles.
2. Use the Variety the Class Offers to Keep from Getting Bored
The second druid tip is to use the variety of the class to keep a character’s interest in the class. The Druid may be a jack-of-all-trades and usually master of only one, but it appeals to players who easily become bored with a single play style. Using this druid tip to its full effectiveness in World of Warcraft will help keep it interesting for the player.
3. Mana Management Is Important for Casting Forms
The third druid tip is for characters to learn how to manage mana in their night elf or tauren forms. The bear form gains rage and the cat form uses energy. Managing mana will help the druid fulfill the role of healer of DPS caster. More often than not the druid will be called upon to be a backup healer if he is not restoration specialization, but the moonkin form in the balance tree puts the druid slightly below the mage and warlock in DPS capabilities.

World of Warcraft offers a dozen professions, each with their own pros and cons, and each with a slew of different options and time consuming acts that will take you to the peaks of gold production. Blacksmithing is a primary service profession that allows you to forge metal bars and create weapons and armor with the correct tools and reagents.
Because this gear is vital to weapon classes such as the Warrior or Paladin, Blacksmithing is a good choice for those characters. Not only can blacksmiths create new weapons, they can enhance the power of existing weapons with stones and other reagents, as well as craft keys to unlock special chests.
Because blacksmithing counts in the total tally of two professions you are allowed, mining is an obvious choice as a second profession. Not only are you going to need all of the many minerals that mining gathers for you, but they can be expensive and purchasing them when you don’t have to just doesn’t make much sense. Blacksmithing can be incredibly expensive as is without the addition of gem and ore purchases. For that reason, you’ll want to specialize in mining as well and have those items at your disposal readily.
However, despite the fact that blacksmithing is such a great profession for making hard to find items, weapons and armor, it is not a very profitable profession. The items made by blacksmiths often sell for less than their source materials and for that reason a blacksmith can lose a lot of gold if they are planning on selling their goods. Dropped items are more rare as well and for that reason tend to be more expensive. However, for those Paladins and Warriors out there, making your own armor is an amazing way to save gold in the long run.
Once a blacksmith reaches level 200 and the character reaches level 40, many more options open up in the profession. This is where you’re given the option to start specializing in specific categories of blacksmithing. There are quests involved in doing so, but afterwards you can become an Swordsmith, Axesmith, or Hammersmith. You are however stuck with that choice not matter what for the duration of your character’s lifespan. You cannot unlearn it at any time and pick up another specialty. This applies only after you complete the specialization quest though.
Blacksmithing is a great opportunity for those with the right character class to craft their own weapons and armor and enjoy a special aspect of the game in which they can both hunt down minerals and turn those minerals into items that other people want. It’s not very profitable, but for the right person, it can be very useful.

Professions can make you a lot of cheap wow gold if you use them correctly. Before we get into my tips and strategies, let me break down the different types of professions you can obtain as well as explain which professions generally should be used wow gold together. Since there are all different skill levels reading this article, I am including some of the basics at the beginning for those wow gold that aren't yet too familiar with how this all cheap wow gold works. If you are a veteran player please feel free to skip past this section to get onto my tips and strategies.
I will now break down what professions should be used together. It's generally a good idea to have both a wow gold gathering and a crafting profession. The way I have it listed is the gathering profession listed first and all the crafting professions that use materials provided by gathering listed second. Depending on your goals, there are other strategies to use instead of what I have listed below which I will explain shortly.
* Mining: Blacksmithing, Jewelcrafting, or Engineering
* Herbalism: Alchemy, Inscription
* Skinning: Leatherworking
* Tailoring + Enchanting
Like I stated before, enchanting is a unique profession. It can be used by itself because when you learn enchanting you also get the wow gold disenchant skill with it. This means that any green, blue, or epic items you come across in the game can be disenchanted to gain the materials required to enchant something and level your skill. Tailoring is another one of those professions that can go by itself because you use all the cloth that you loot from killing mobs to craft your tailoring items. Because of this, these two go very well together. Another reason I like to pair these two professions is because when you are making items with tailoring to level it up, you can then disenchant everything you make to gain enchanting materials. Plus, at higher levels of tailoring you need certain enchanting dust to make some items. If you want, you can also just sell all your dust and essences on the AH that you acquire through disenchanting and make wow gold with it.
And now for the good part, how you can use your professions to make cheap wow gold. I won't really cover the real obvious aspects because you probably already know those such as farming for materials, crafting an item, and selling what you craft on the AH. Or farming herbs and selling them. I will however explain certain creative things you can do involving those previous options that most people wouldn't think of. This is huge because what you want to do is focus on what everyone else is NOT doing. I'll give several examples from certain professions and you can then feel free to employ those tactics to any profession you have.
This strategy can be applied to any other profession too as I have done it with tailoring, alchemy, and a few others. Just research what items from your craft are selling for a lot of wow gold, but that you can buy the materials for very cheap. This part may include a little work in researching but its well worth your time. Now get all your mats, craft the item, sell on the AH, and repeat as often as you like.

It may seem difficult to determine which of the World of Warcraft professions is right for you. The types of items that you will be creating with your World of Warcraft professions and how useful they will be for your character class are the main things that you need to keep in mind when you are making your choices. Another thing to consider is whether or not you are concerned with making large sums of gold or if you are only interested in being able to make useful items for your character. There are many options depending on what you want to get out of your World of Warcraft professions. The following is a brief clarification of the benefits each profession has to offer as they relate to the different WoW character classes.
In general, Enchanting and Engineering are excellent options that can work well with any of the character classes. If you are a Paladin or Warrior, Blacksmithing is a good choice, while Tailoring is an excellent match for Priests and Mages.
Engineering is a fantastic profession to choose if you want your WoW character to have above average equipment. This is a particularly good advantage to have once you are in the later levels of World of Warcraft. This profession will by no means make you a ton of gold. In the beginning, it can actually be more expensive. Don't be fooled though, because the benefits of Engineering can far outweigh the cost. To some, the ability to easily have the useful equipment that this profession produces is practically priceless. If your character is a Paladin, Engineering can provide you with ranged attacks. Mining is a necessary supplementary profession if you don't want to be shelling out precious gold for all the ore that is required for Engineering.
Enchanting is considered by many to be difficult and only particularly useful in the higher levels of WoW. In spite of this, it is still one of the most excellent World of Warcraft professions.
Tailoring and Leatherworking, on the other hand, are regarded by many as being the most simple of the World of Warcraft professions. Tailoring, quite simply put, is the fabrication of bags and cloth armor. This involves creating the types of items that are made from the start of the game and used on into the higher levels of World of Warcraft. Leatherworking is a great profession for the classes like Druid and Hunter because they wear leather. Because certain other WoW classes evolve to use mail armor as they reach the higher levels, for them the need for Leatherworking becomes increasingly unnecessary. Skinning is the obvious matching profession for Leatherworking.
Alchemy is the art of making potions from herbs and that makes Herbalism the perfect matching World of Warcraft profession. Many of the potions that are created through Alchemy are used for restoring health and mana during a fight. This makes Alchemy the perfect choice for classes like Healer and Mage who tend to run low on these things.
Secondary professions are also something to consider and there are many to choose from. You should always examine the relevance of each of these secondary professions and how they can benefit the specific class of your character. Another thing to keep in mind is that, even though you are limited to only two primary professions, there is no limit to the number of secondary professions you can learn. In fact, you can learn them all if that is your wish.
There are also WoW walkthroughs that can give you more detailed information about which World of Warcraft professions are best for each of the character classes. They can also teach you how to utilize them to increase your World of Warcraft gold earnings. There are many choices and with a massive game like World of Warcraft it is never a bad idea to look for help if you feel you can use it.
