First, being a warlock you'll effortlessly solo any quest in WOTLK, even 3-man quests. You'll actually stand in melee range of the hard hitting boss and burn him down, using Voidwalker Sacrifice and Drain Life and if things get messy, you can always fear him!

Warlock Leveling Guide: Basic Tips

In order to survive in World of Warcraft, you need to be fast. Accessing your core skills should be quick and effective. Keybind everything! ALT + 1 for your Healthstone, ALT + 2 for your Major/Super/Runic Healing Potion, ALT + 3 for your Voidwalker Sacrifice, ALT + 4 for Death Coil. These are your main survivability methods. If you have instant Howl of Terror (thanks to the two talents in Affliction) bind that to ALT + 5.

If your mouse has a scroll button, Use 'scroll up' for Fear and 'scroll down' for Lifetap. Mouse side buttons could be used for instant Shadow Bolts (Thanks for Nightfall procs) or using a bandage.

To pull multiple mobs use Corruption (put it 2nd or 3rd on your skill bar) then follow with Curse of Agony. As these are your warlock's main DOTS, they should be on the enemies at any moment. Don't forget to refresh them as often as required.

Hint: Don't refresh Curse of Agony in the middle since it does the most damage on the last ticks. Let it run out before putting a new CoA on the target.

Warlock Leveling Guide: How To Deal With Multiple Mobs?

This is the order your warlock should kill packs of 4 or more monsters:

Mob1: Put Corruption and Curse of Agony on him then let your Voidwalker tank.

Mob2 and Mob3: Put the above dots on them two and look for a 4th mob. While these two mobs hack you in melee range use Voidwalker Sacrifice and order your pet to follow you.

When all 4 mobs are in melee range use Rain of Fire (It won't be interrupted since you still have the shield up). In a few seconds all mobs will die and you'll end the fight at 100% HP thanks to Siphon Life talent and Glyph of Siphon Life. When you get the ultimate affliction talent, Haunt, it's even easier.

Using the above technique i managed to solo 8 mobs. Too bad i couldn't find more! ^^

Warlock Leveling Guide: What Glyphs To Get?

At level 15, it's imperative that you acquire Glyph of Life Tap. It gives you 20% of your spirit as spell power and since you Life Tap a lot, why not benefit from it even more?

At 30, you get your second major glyph slot. Glyph of Siphon Life is mandatory here. Combined with the Siphon Life talent, you'll receive 55% of your Corruption damage as healing. Add 3 more mobs to the mix and you'll get healed a lot for every tick.

Leveling your warlock from 1 to 80 will be a breeze thanks to these unfair, if I might add, techniques.

It may seem difficult to determine which of the World of Warcraft professions is right for you. The types of items that you will be creating with your World of Warcraft professions and how useful they will be for your character class are the main things that you need to keep in mind when you are making your choices. Another thing to consider is whether or not you are concerned with making large sums of gold or if you are only interested in being able to make useful items for your character. There are many options depending on what you want to get out of your World of Warcraft professions. The following is a brief clarification of the benefits each profession has to offer as they relate to the different WoW character classes.

In general, Enchanting and Engineering are excellent options that can work well with any of the character classes. If you are a Paladin or Warrior, Blacksmithing is a good choice, while Tailoring is an excellent match for Priests and Mages.

This is a particularly good advantage to have once you are in the later levels of World of Warcraft. This profession will by no means make you a ton of gold. Enchanting is considered by many to be difficult and only particularly useful in the higher levels of WoW. In spite of this, it is still one of the most excellent World of Warcraft professions.

Tailoring and Leatherworking, on the other hand, are regarded by many as being the most simple of the World of Warcraft professions. Tailoring, quite simply put, is the fabrication of bags and cloth armor. This involves creating the types of items that are made from the start of the game and used on into the higher levels of World of Warcraft. Leatherworking is a great profession for the classes like Druid and Hunter because they wear leather. Because certain other WoW classes evolve to use mail armor as they reach the higher levels, for them the need for Leatherworking becomes increasingly unnecessary. Skinning is the obvious matching profession for Leatherworking.

Alchemy is the art of making potions from herbs and that makes Herbalism the perfect matching World of Warcraft profession. Many of the potions that are created through Alchemy are used for restoring health and mana during a fight. This makes Alchemy the perfect choice for classes like Healer and Mage who tend to run low on these things.

How To Level Fast In Wow Tip #1: Get a level 1 bank character.

Make a level 1 character and bring him to the closest Auction House City. This will help greatly with leveling your main character. Let me explain why: You'll mail everything your main character doesn't need to the bank char so you don't waste precious leveling time in the auction house, trying to sell your things. Instead, use that time to do quests. Go to Capital Cities every 2 levels to acquire new skills. The bank character should handle everything else there.

How To Level Fast In Wow Tip #1: Get two gathering professions.

World of Warcraft has three gathering professions: Mining, Herbalism and Skinning. I suggest going with Mining and Herbalism, even if you cannot track them both at the same time. Put "Track Mining" on mousewheelup and "Track Herbalism" on mousewheeldown then switch as often as you want. Herbs and Veins are almost everywhere, but skinnable creatures not. Wasting time to find, kill and skin creatures (to raise your skill) slows down your leveling speed considerably. As usual, send all your ores/herbs to your bank character and watch the money pile up.

How To Level Fast In Wow Tip #1: Get a PvE / Grinding Spec.

When leveling you should ignore pvp, healing or tanking specs. Stick to a 'kill fast with close to no downtime' build. Rogues should go combat, warriors arms, priests shadow, warlocks demonology or affliction, hunters beastmastery and so on. It's annoying and slow to level as a protection warrior or as a holy priest. Use wowhead.com's talent calculator to plan your talents in advance: the best on the market, in my opinion.

How To Level Fast In Wow Tip #1: Instances, Battlegrounds - DON'T.

Ignore the following when leveling: hard group quests, instances with newbie team-mates, battlegrounds, engaging in pvp warfare against griefers and teams of enemy combatants!

They will slow down your leveling time considerably. Stick to one-man quests which involve killing, looting, collecting; ignore quests which send you across the continent or to the other continent!

Try to group quests in the same area. Don't run like a crow who just got struck in the head with the hammer, running all over the map for 1 quest then running some more for another quest. Try to keep quests organized!

Enable the auto-loot option (hit escape -> options menu).

Get some cash early on from selling copper ore and linen cloth to get buy netherweave cloth. Ask a friendly tailor on the chat channel to fashion 2-3 netherweave bags for you so you won't have trouble with bag space.

I managed to get 400g at level 20. It's possible. Send everything to the bank character, sell everything on AH, disenchant every low-level bind on equip item etc.

There's more to say but pfft, the space here is limited. I learned all these tips the hard way (going from Thousand Needles, Shimmering Flats to Stranglethorn Vale and back wasn't a nice experience, I tell you - all this for a lowbie goblin quest).
