The online game World of Warcraft is one of the most popular computer games of any sort ever created. Around the globe, untold numbers of people enjoy the 3d fantasy adventure world of WoW – where your character can learn and use a wide variety of skills. So why a WoW cooking guide? One of these is cooking, a skill that while not essential, strictly speaking can be useful in that some of the foods you’ll learn to cook at higher levels can give you some buffs and also earn you a tidy sum of money! This brief WoW cooking guide will attempt to get you started on your way to mastering this skill.

First of all, you’re going to need fire if you want to cook; pretty much any fire you can find works. If there is no fire handy, you’ll have to make a fire yourself. To do this you’ll need the items Simple Wood and Flint and Tinder. You’ll also need the ability Basic Campfire – you can learn this skil by training at a cooking trainer. Sorry, reading this WoW cooking guide won’t give your character the skill (we’d do it for you if we could!)

Got fire? Good! Next you’re going to need something to cook. Start with the simplest recipe; spice bread. You’ll need to buy Simple Flour and Mild Spice for this. Hint: if you learn your cooking skill in Ironforge, you can start cooking on the fire outside the building, which will make things a little easier for the novice chef. Once you level up your cooking skill a bit, you’ll be ready for something a little more challenging.

For Horde players:

You can hunt Mottled Boars (for Boar Meat) and Wolves, Stalkers and Darkhounds (for Stringy Wolf Meat) and cook these to level up your cooking skill a little farther. You can speed this up a little by cooking Spiced Wolf Meat, but you will have to remember to buy Mild Spice as well.

For Alliance Players:

At low levels, Crag Boars and Boars (for Boar Meat) and Wolves (Stringy Wolf Meat) are easy prey – the same tip for Spiced Wolf Meat applies for Alliance players.

Once you’ve reached level 50 as a cook, you’ll want to train as a Journeyman Cook and then you’ll be past the introductory stage of cooking skills and on your way to bigger and better things – Though this brief WoW cooking guide only covers the very basics, just you wait: Tender Wolf Steaks, Monster Omelets and Smoked Desert Dumpling await you at higher levels. Wow Blacksmithing Guide

Wow Blacksmithing offers you the ability to create some spectacular gear. If you're going to play a mail or plate wearing class, you can create armor and weapons that are as good as or exceed dungeon drops. (As with all the other classes, the very best gear comes from high-level dungeons and raid instances.)We recommend you take up mining if you're going to be a blacksmith. The two professions choices will lock you out of other professions, but its better to dig out your own gold than to have to rely on others or the Auction House for it. With mining you will supply a great majority of the ore and gems you need with blacksmithing. And extra ore and gems can always be sold in the AH for other professions that use them, such as Engineering and Jewelcrafting.Wow Blacksmithing requires a quite eclectic array of materials. Once your skill is high enough to create high end weapon and armor, you're going to need to collect materials from all of the gathering disciplines (Fishing, Mining, Herbing, and Skinning). As an example, the Shadow War Axe requires alchemy Shadow Oil potion from an alchemist, which in turn requires an Oil Blacktail fish from a fisherman, along with other herbsOnce your Warcraft blacksmithing hits 200 (and you're level 40 or above), you can choose to specialize as an Armor smith or a Weapon smith. Weapon smiths can then specialize into Hammer, Axe, or Sword smiths.Which of these four (Armor, Axe, Sword, or Hammer) specialties is best is a source of on-going debate among blacksmiths. Consider that while armor drops (raid, dungeons, grinding) are many, you'll typically change weapons less often, as they are harder to find.Go to a WOW website (such as Thottbot.com or Wowwiki.com) and look over the weapons that drop, and the weapons that you can make if you specialize in one of the weapon skills or seek out a more detailed Wow Blacksmithing guide.If you know you're not going to raid a lot, then you'll be better off making your own high-level weapon. If you're hardcore into raiding, then you might be better off making armor, and looking for that weapon drop.

All of the classes in world of warcraft can reap some reward  from the Enchanting profession. With the Enchanting profession you will have a really great experience because of all the things you will be able to do with it. If you seek to become an Enchanter you are going to need to first locate a trainer and then train in the Enchanting profession. Your best bet at finding a trainer will be over at one of the major cities or smaller villages. You will be left off with all the basic knowledge you need to get started with the Enchanting profession and will even be given the Disenchanting ability which will be very handy in game. From your training you can further your profession and eventually make your own enchants that can be sold to other gamers for gold.

Enchanting, in the beginning levels are very simple and easy to level through. Disenchanting blue and green items can pretty much be your main focus. It's only when you're trying to advance this profession during the later levels that it can get kind of hard. All the mats for certain Enchants can get real tedious because of the expensive prices for them. If you choose to be an Enchanter you will need an Enchanting rod, which you can make yourself. Blacksmiths are responsible for making the rod and you will have to enchant it.

The Enchants you will have at your disposal will solely be up to you and how far you wish to level your skills up. Each talent build as well as the different classes will offer you a different set of enchants based upon how you play. For those gamers who decide to be more PvP and Tank oriented Enchants for them will increase their stamina and upgrade their armor. For the players who act as damage dealers enchants for them will increase their attack power. Healing type players also can benefit from their casted enchants. Those who act as healers will increase mana regeneration, spell power for healing others and more. All of the classes available in world of warcraft can use the enchanting profession and excel in their own way with its use. Wow Professions

There are a total of nine main Wow Professions available in World of Warcraft with a tenth one (Jewelcrafting) added if you have the Burning Crusade expansion pack.Unlike classes, professions are not race dependent. Any race can have their pick of any World of Warcraft profession.However, there is a condition involved, and that is that players can learn only 2 of the main professional skills. This doesn’t include the secondary Wow professions of First Aid, Cooking and Fishing, which can all be learnt by everyone.Almost all of the world of warcraft professions have a counterpart wow profession which you will do well to look into. For instance, if you wanted to be a Blacksmith in world of warcraft you should ideally look at a second world of warcraft profession of Mining. You could go for a Blacksmith/Engineering wow profession combination, but that might go to your disadvantage.The Wow professions - with the exceptions of Tailoring and Enchanting - go hand in glove in a “gathering” and “crafting” combination.The first is to facilitate your getting any raw materials you might need, and the second is there for you to craft the raw materials intosaleable items.Otherwise you will find that you need to either buy your raw materials, or that you need to find a buyer for your crafted itemsdepending in whether you chose to be a “crafter” or a “gatherer”.There is of course nothing wrong with doing this and you might find that gain more advantages this way. If you want to do world of warcraft Enchanting profession alongside something like world of warcraft Leatherworking profession there won’t be a problem. All you will need to do is to get your raw materials from elsewhere, or sell the raw materials you gather to level up your skills.

WoW Enchanting Guide

To start with just a quick clarification of what World Of Warcraft enchanting is and how to use it.

Any class in WoW can do enchanting and bear in mind it is a primary profession.The blood elves have an increased enchanting ability or gain if you wish to play them.

Tailoring goes quite well with enchanting as well and another cool thing with enchanting is no gathering.

Enchanting allows you to enchant all sorts of things such as weapons and armour to make it more powerful and wanted.

So if you enchant a certain item that another player is searching for you can sell it to him for gold.

At the start your enchants and enchanting skills are very basic and not everyone might need lower level enchanted items, but stick to it as in the higher levels is where you will make most of your gold.

It is not the easiest of professions to learn and can be a bit tedious and costly I find, but it is still very popular.

When you commence with enchanting you will first be disenchanting items. Disenchanting means breaking them down (permanently) into core elements that you can use to level up your enchanting.

Some of these items that you may disenchant can be quite costly but this is part of the process regrettably. So instead of selling the items in the Auction house for some gold you need to break them down into its core to reuse for enchants.

Remember to disenchant the correct items as if you make a blunder it cannot be undone. Where do you get these items to disenchant? Other players, maybe bought from the AH. There are many sources.

Formulae (special enchanting recipes) can be located from monster drops or hidden trainers.

If you disenchant armour you obtain- mostly dust (varies on the level),possibly some essence and very seldom, a shard.

Performing a disenchant on weapons will give you mostly an essence.

Blue Items you get, Sometimes Green as Well - A shard.

Nexus crystals and void crystals is what you can get if you disenchant a purple item.
